In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, melted butter and half the sugar. Then break the chocolate into pieces and melt it over a water bath. Add the melted chocolate to the foamed mixture.

Whisk the egg whites and the other half of the sugar separately until stiff and gently fold into the chocolate mixture. Add the flour and baking powder.

Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper and fill it with the mixture. Place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Cut the baked cake twice, dip it in the sugar solution and spread with apricot jam.

Melt the chocolate again over a water bath and add the butter and oil to make it more fluffy.

Cover the cake with chocolate and put it in the fridge for a while to set.
