Product description

Apple strudel, or "apple strudel" as it is known colloquially, is a dish that is not only popular in Slovenia, but is also often prepared in Austria and Germany. The main ingredients for this traditional dessert have so far been puff pastry or drawn pastry and apple filling. The rich flavour is now enhanced by the addition of the Štrudelj & pita spice. It is absolutely easy to prepare, just sprinkle it on the dough, then roll it up and pop it in the oven with a baking tray.

To make it even juicier, brush it a few times during baking with a coating made from a little butter, sugar and excess apple juice. During the baking process, the house already smells of apples and an aromatic mixture of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, vanilla, pimento and sugar. Once we have practised making the dough, we are ready with a delicious and homemade confection that makes our everyday life a little more festive.

How to store

Spices should be stored at room temperature between 15 and 25°C, in a dry and dark place. The room temperature should never exceed 25°C, and spices should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
